Valentine Cards

It's been awhile since I blogged on my craft page. I have crafted some but not as much as I use to since we have been full time RVing and doing volunteer work. For Valentine's Day, I made cards for all the men working on a MAPS RV project we are working this winter. Even though the pictures are not good, I'm posting them anyway. I really just thought about taking pics at the last minute. I even had some of them already packaged. 

I made a few more but failed to get pics. I like be making cards, especially Valentine cards. 

November 2014 Day Before Thanksgiving.

It's been awhile since I have blogged on my craft page. I have made a few cards that I have given away but didn't take pictures. So, not really much to post.

However, I have been playing around with my Silhouette Cameo.  I find this machine anazing but it does have a learning curve.   I am still learning.  Thank goodness for YouTube and FB groups to learn from.

I created a split monogram using Regal Font and with instruction watching YouTube.  Sorry that I don't remember the web site video I watched.  Here is my vinyl project. I made it to go in my RV door window.

The other craft I have been working on is a print and cut project.  I loved the idea of the "floating" ornaments.  I have made a few.  They are pretty fun.

Instead of tying ribbon on the top (I have a hard time making a good bow), I used a candle ring on the top.  They fit very nicely on top.  Just the right size. 

That's all for now.  We are on our way to Miami for the winter months, volunteering with RV MAPS. 

I hope to decorate the RV for Christmas.  I am going to try to use a little different color scheme, red and teal, we shall see....

Mother's Day

My mother is in heaven and of course we all miss her. She was a talented musician, singer, seamstress, and a wonderful Pastor's wife.

My two daughters have blessed me with seven amazing grandchildren. I made them a folding (accordion) card for Mother's Day.

Embroidered towels

Since we have been gone on our RV journey, I was immediately put to work machine embroidering when we got back in town. I had an order to do some wedding towels. The customer originally wanted an angel on the towels but after a few suggestions, she decided on "His" and Hers" on the bath towels and a cross with wedding bands, the wedding symbol, on the hand towels. I was pleased with the way they turned out. Not a very good pic but anyway here they are.

Butterfly Cards

Today didn't go as planned but at least I got two more cards done.

So far I have kept my goal of crafting at least one card per day.

I haven't crafted for awhile and I really need to build up my card stash. My goal is to try to make at least one card a day for the rest of the month.

I started today and was able to do two cards. Here they are--

Butterfly punch

I think I have a new favorite punch. It is the butterfly punch by Martha Stewart. Here are two cards I made. One is using the punch and creating a three D effect. I think I will be using this punch a lot.

Also used was the cuddlebug embossing machine and a butterfly embossing folder.

Pirate Explosion Box

My grandsons are having number 9 and number 7 birthday.  I made a Pirate Theme Explosion Box. Perfect theme to hide "hidden money treasure".

I hid more "treasure" under play coins and Gold wrapped Peanut Butter cups.  My grandson seemed to enjoy finding all the money treasure.  Happy Birthday Birthday Boy.

Trying to craft cards here in the RV can be a challenge especially when papers and embellishments are limited but here are a few cards I made this week.

Love Deco Mesh

I have made several wreaths using deco mesh? This product has so many uses for decorating. Here are a few recent creations.
